Too cute for words...

Children and toddlers can be some of the most fun and rewarding subjects to photograph and, knowing how quickly children grow up, I always consider it a privildge to capture a fleeting moment of this special time...that's not to say it doesnt have its challenges...you wouldnt believe how long it took to set up the shot above with the gorgeous toddlers of the Wokingham NCT mum and baby group!

Both the children and their very glamorous mums were able to enjoy the afternoon sunshine in a local park, the little ones enjoying their play while I snapped away in the background.

Naomi, Phil and Henry

It was such a pleasure to provide a relaxed, lakeside family  photoshoot for Naomi, Phil and their beautiful baby son Henry.  Although Mum and Dad may have been a bit nervous to have their photographs taken, little Henry had no such problems and was a total natural in front of the camera!

Rapunzel

About a year ago now I came across a little gem of a hair salon in Marlow, Rapunzel, owned by the utterly fabulous Julie Ann Hilsdon.  Specialists in the highest quality hair extensions and styling, the business recently moved to Crooham high street, undergoing an incredible styling makeover in the process and Julie Ann asked me to take some promo shots for their new marketing materials...and who could resist?!!

Everything about the new salon screams quality.  From the deep leather, jewel encrusted wash beds to the baroque style mirrors and accessories, you cannot help but be intoxicated by the attention to detail and luxury feel of interiors.

Memory Lane

This week I found myself in the Kate Middleton's home village of Bucklebury for a portrait shoot with Chris.  The village had a special significance for him as he had lots of happy memories of spending time in the countryside there as a child and teenager.

Although Chris told me the place had changed a lot since he was last here, we managed to find a lovely little spot that had remained unspoilt. Although the rope swing was long gone, he still managed to let go and let his inner child run free!

Rhiannon

It was a real pleasure to shoot these natural portrait shots of Rhiannon.  She is such a natural beauty that it was incredibly difficult to choose my favourite shots for the blog...



By the time we finished our shoot, we were lucky enough to hit that elusive 'golden hour' when the sun is low in the sky and about to go down.   This hour before sunset gives the most stunning natural light and helped to create my favourite image of the shoot...
